PIVOT School of Academic Resilience

This program offers an alternative to the traditional high school classroom enabling students to take an active role in shaping their education. PIVOT’s adoption of cooperative and collaborative learning offers students an opportunity to explore scholastic advancement from a nontraditional approach. This multifaceted approach addresses the academic needs of many learners—from gifted students to those seeking greater success. When at-risk students are searching for an alternative path to high school graduation, the PIVOT program offers a beneficial balance of customized learning and interaction with fellow students. PIVOT School of Academic Resilience provides an innovative alternative to the traditional high school for at-risk students.

Adult Education

​

The mission of this program is to provide lifelong educational opportunities and services, while addressing the unique needs of individuals in a diverse population. The Adult Education program is an educational program designed to serve adults who desire to earn a high school diploma or General Education Development. The adult education program may award an adult standard diploma to individuals who meet state requirements.

Academic Hour of Power

Supplemental Education & Tutoring

The Hour of Power offers one-on-one assistance for at-risk students. The goal of the Hour of Power is to help middle and high school students reach grade level competency or above in one or more core subjects with emphasis on Math and English. These students benefit from personalized attention and small group settings, as they boost their confidence and skills

PIVOT Resilient Scholars

Summer Enrichment Program

Resilient Scholars is the PIVOT 8 week summer enrichment program where select students participate in academic, entrepreneurial, recreational, and civic activities. The program works with participants to strengthen and fill academic gaps in the areas of Math and English while stimulating the characteristics of their entrepreneurial spirit.
